How would you rate Alienware Area 51m's portability against its competitors?

Based on reviews posted on popular review sites as well as from Alienware Area 51m's website, Alienware Area 51m performs very well in terms of size and portability relative to other gaming laptop stores.
One reviewer on theverge.com said Alienware Area 51m performs well on size and portability relative to its peers. You can read the full review here. From this review:
The Area-51m is an unrealistic option for most gamers. The kind of gamer who is going to demand this level of performance in a portable machine and put up with all of the compromises and costs necessary to get it is likely a competitive e-sports player or a virtual reality game developer who needs an easier way to transport their desktop to the next trade show. That said, what Alienware has done with the Area-51m is really impressive. Not only does it hit performance marks unmatched by other portable machines, but it doesn’t have any glaring issues or show-stopping usability problems that bring it down, other than the obvious compromises with its size and weight. Even just being able to cool these desktop components efficiently enough for them to perform this well in a portable machine is a genuine feat. If you are the type of gamer who wants the ultimate power in a portable machine and are willing to pay any cost to get it, the Area-51m is for you. For the rest of us, I’m hopeful that Dell’s plans for upgradability pan out because I’m very curious to see where the Area-51m’s ideas on performance and portability go in the future.
One reviewer on engadget.com said Alienware Area 51m performs well on size and portability relative to its peers. You can read the full review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
The Area 51m is a truly unique laptop. It’s portable, but it packs in all of the power, and most of the customizability, that you’d want from a gaming desktop. Still, when other modern laptops are significantly thinner, cheaper, and almost as powerful, it’s a tough sell for most gamers. If anything, it’s a testament to Dell’s ingenuity. And for players who demand power above all else, it’s a solid choice.
Based on a review posted on ign.com, Alienware Area 51m was rated as fairly average for size and portability relative to competing gaming laptop stores. Check out the entire review here. Specifically, this reviewer pointed out the following:
To match the desktop-like internals, the Area-51m is a sizable device. Measuring 16.1 x 15.85 x 1.7-inches and weighing 8.54 pounds, you're going to need a big laptop bag and a strong back to haul this thing around. Oh, and that doesn't include the additional weight of its two power supplies. You can get away with a single power supply if you plan on using the Area-51m for routine school or work tasks, with the system defaulting to the integrated GPU when a lone power supply is used. However, if you want to game, you're going to need both power supplies.
